Nicola spent 20 years at Schroders both in Bermuda and Guernsey. Nicola founded Schroders Private Equity Services in Guernsey in 2003 and was responsible for creating a competitive fund administration business which was targeted and bought out by JPMorgan in 2010. By virtue of her role as Managing Director of a fund administration operation she has considerable experience servicing a broad spectrum of structures from real estate funds to bio pharma ventures. Nicola is a chartered secretary specialising in corporate governance and is the Managing Director (‘MD”) of Belasko.
Nicky is a Guernsey resident, qualified accountant with 26 years’ experience in the Guernsey financial services sector. During the seven years which Nicky worked with the MD establishing and growing the finance and operations function of Schroders Private Equity Services on the Island, she gained considerable experience in all aspects of the administration of a range of different vehicles and structures and, consequently, brings significant experience to the finance and operational functions of the business. As Finance Director, Nicky is responsible for the finance function including accounting, financial and regulatory reporting and cash management of Belasko and acts as client relationship manager on a number of major clients.
Mark is a director of Belasko Jersey Limited and was previously a director at Stonehage Fleming Corporate Services. Prior to that he headed the fund management function at Barclays Wealth where he was responsible for high net worth individuals, corporate and institutional clients looking after a number of real estate, private equity, debt and hedge funds which included a number of European real estate funds. Additionally Mark has sat on the boards of a number of listed and unlisted funds. Mark has been involved with a large number of major UK property and private equity transactions, as well as corporate finance and leveraging arrangements valued at over £2 billion. Mark graduated with a degree in law from Southampton University and has a BSc in Financial Services from UMIST. He is an Associate of the Institute of Financial Services
Alan is a director of Belasko Jersey Limited and is an experienced client services director with a particular knowledge of UK taxation issues as they apply to offshore structures. Alan has been involved in tax services since 1989 in the UK and Jersey with Deloitte, BDO and Smith & Williamson. He also has extensive experience in the management of complex, high-value international structures having held senior fiduciary positions at Walbrook Trustees and Barclays Wealth in Jersey. Alan is a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners
Andy is a director of Belasko Jersey Limited and head of client accounting. Andy trained as an accountant in the UK, relocating to Jersey in 2002 where he worked for Vistra (Jersey) Limited holding a number of positions including Group Financial Controller. Following this he joined Stonehage Fleming Corporate Services Limited to head up the Accounting and Valuations team. Andy has chaired the audit committee of a listed fund and been an active member on the boards of both listed and unlisted vehicles. Andy is a qualified accountant, a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and a fellow member of the Association of Accounting Technicians (FMAT). He has also obtained a diploma in International Financial Reporting Standards.
